Finally Skoda has revealed the new generation Superb sedan in the global market. The new Skoda Superb comes with many new features along with new exterior, interior and new powertrain options.
Design
New generation skoda superb comes with modern design.The size of the new model has been retained as before. But now it includes many newly designed parts. It gets the signature Skoda grille with newly styled LED lights and a new signature for the LED DRLs. There is an all-new bumper that now accommodates a larger air dam with sharper cuts and folds.
The entire silhouette is similar to the previous model except for the new set of alloy wheels. It may get 19-inch alloy wheels. The rear profile has also been updated, which includes updated LED tail lights and updated bumper. The wheelbase of the new Super is 2841 mm. , but this sedan is now 15 mm narrower, 43 mm longer and 12 mm taller than its previous model. Its boot space has been increased by 20 liters to 645-litres.
interior
The interior of the new Skoda Superb 2024 has been totally changed. Which includes color scheme and dashboard layout. It gets a dual-tone interior theme with silk inserts and premium upholstery. Its features a new 13-inch floating infotainment screen and three dials for HVAC controls. The center console looks clean with very few buttons and a smaller display in the dials for HVAC controls.
Features
Talking about the features, the new generation Skoda Superb has an ambient lighting system, a premium sound system, electrically adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation function, a panoramic sunroof and wireless phone charging and USB C fast charging. This sedan also has a new 10.25 inch digital instrument console. For safety and security, the new Superb has multiple airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). In this ADAS technology, features like automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot monitoring will be available.
powertrain
The new generation Skoda Superb is offered with two hybrid powertrains which include a 150PS 1.5-litre mild hybrid, and a 204PS 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid engine. The plug-in hybrid will get a 25.7kWh battery pack and is claimed to be That it can provide a range of up to 100 km on electric mode only. This sedan also has the option of 2.0-litre turbo petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine offers two states of tune 204bhp and 265bhp with the 265bhp getting an all-wheel drive layout while the diesel engine can come with 150bhp (FWD) and 193bhp (AWD).
